Walk with Intention
At We Wander France, walking is central to the journey — not a race, but a meaningful way to engage with the world around you. Our walks take you through forest paths, cliffside trails, and quiet country lanes. Every step is designed to immerse you in the rhythm of rural France.
These are real walks, meant for active travelers who enjoy moving their bodies daily. You should be in good physical condition and comfortable walking several miles on varied terrain. While not extreme, the routes include hills, uneven surfaces, and occasional elevation changes.

What to Bring
We recommend lightweight walking shoes, a small daypack, a refillable water bottle, sun protection, and your sense of curiosity. Walking poles are optional and welcome.
Terrain is generally moderate but requires a solid fitness foundation. We take frequent pauses to enjoy the view, hydrate, and snap a few photos — but this is an active walking retreat, best suited for those who already enjoy moving every day.
Walk with Heart
We Wander France invites you to explore with intention — through movement, through stillness, and through the kind of beauty only found off the beaten path.
